The Sea Change ... It's ON!!!!!!!!!!

Why hello lovelies. BIG news this week!

Before we went to America I applied for a job at the Sunshine Coast and was eagerly awaiting a phone call to see whether I had secured an interview. I was pretty sure I would at least get an interview and was also somewhat confident that I would get the job. Well I DID GET THE JOB!

What does that mean then? The husband and I will be moving to the Sunshine Coast probably right on new years. I start my new job on the 14th January. Receiving that phone call was surreal. The idea of moving is now a reality and actually securing a new job means we actually have to moveI've been working at the Uni for over 10 years (and in my current position for around 6 years) and will get my 10 year service award in December. It will be sad to leave my co-workers who are a great bunch of people but I'm up for the challenge.

What will even be harder is leaving our lovely friends and the comfort of living in my hometown but ... I can't complain. I'm going to be living seaside!

I am IN LOVE with this house at Buderim ... seeing the bank tomorrow to see how much money they might consider loaning us.

Anyway, enough of that.

Here's what I wore for What I Wore Wednesday. A little bit of a cooler day allowed me to wear a floral dress with sleeves that I picked up at Myer for 75% off.

Why haven't more of you entered my giveaway? Is no-one interested in a fabulous nutcase helmet? There is less than 5 entries so far ... that's pretty good odds.

Christmas Wishlist post coming tomorrow for anyone out there needing pressie ideas!

Welcome Winter

Hey friends! Couldn't wait till tomorrow to share today's outfit so here I am sharing it today. Last week I mentioned that I was on the lookout for a few knits for winter and I hit the jackpot with this beauty in mombasa on Sunday. This is totally the sort of outfit I could wear everyday - one that you could lounge around the house in AND one that is acceptable for (my) work and play! I think I need to get myself another pair of these leggings too!

Go check out yesterday's post ... what do you think of the neon glasses? Seems I've got a bit neon crazy ...

I promise no neons tomorrow!

Oh, and I thought I'd share a pic of my gorgeous twinnie that she instagrammed this morning pretending that Brisbane is actually cold! Go check out her insta-feed at nes083. Ness is having a baby in like 3 weeks. It will be the first baby in the family and to say we are all a little excited is a bit of an understatement.

p.s. winter has definitely arrived today! There was ice on the car this morning.

What I Wore Wednesday

Happy hump day friends! I am totally looking a bit dorky/boyish today. I really should have been bothered drying and touching my hair up after body attack this morning as it just does not look good tied back.

I've had these volcom skinny pants for years now. I can even recall when I got them and who I was shopping with. They are a staple in my wardrobe and still in great nick, albeit a tiny bit faded.

In other exciting news, I am now a fully qualified BodyPump instructor! I did my initial training back in January and submitted my certification video a couple of weeks ago and found out the good news on Monday. If you have never tried pump at the gym I encourage you to do it. It's such a good workout and adds a bit of variety to your workout.
Another thing I encourage you to do ... watch once upon a time. I seriously LOVED it.
That is all. Peace out xxx
oh, and welcome to my new followers. I appreciate each and everyone's visits

What I Wore (Retro) Wednesday

Welcome to another instalment of  What I wore Wednesday! Today I decided to showcase one of my recent Lifeline purchases. The fit is pretty good but man the arm holes are small!

vintage dress, vintage clutch, hot options wedges, asos belt, china glaze 'hey sailor' polish

I'll be contacting asos today about this bloody belt! I just received this dress in the mail and thought the orange was a perfect match to my retro orange. The stupid thing won't stay closed for any longer than a couple of minutes and then it pops off as per the top left action shot!

Hope you have a lovely Wednesday. Welcome to my new followers! I always get such a thrill when I see a new reader is on board. Don't be shy!

I was very lucky to win a prize as part of Zara's participation in the pay-it-forward project. I'll be offering up some goodies soon if you want to participate. I'm thinking a gorgeous 70s maxi skirt and maybe some Johnson crockery. Stay tuned!
